Simple Minds, a Scottish music group, was formed in Glasgow in 1978. They were one of the most successful bands of the 1980s and 1990s. From the mid-1980s to the early 1990s, they reached the top of the UK charts with five albums and the single „Belfast Child“. Their single „Don’t You (Forget About Me)“ also reached number one in the US charts.
